I just saw the new interface yesterday at an ATM and boy, does it suck !
As someone commented earlier, the color scheme is hard to read. But most of all, it seems like the most common operation “Get Cash out of my checking account” is not well-designed. It takes a whole bunch of menu clicks to get there and the buttons for this 90% case are just the same size and color as all other buttons and have to be “Searched for”. They should have taken a look at the new Citibank ATM interfaces. Much better.
